Mahima's mother abandoned her family for another man. His father, Rajib is an abusive alcoholic, selling vegetables for about $6 per month. The family house has mud walls and a clay tile roof. The GNI director heard about the family situation and asked her father about Mahima and two older sisters coming to live in our Dream Centre. Now she is thriving and receiving a good education. Her dream is to be a nurse.
