High Risk: Babli's father passed away in a road accident. Now, her mother, Jharana, is the sole provider for Babli and her sister, Dibyalaxmi. Jharana works at a melody party, which occurs about six times a year. From this work, she earns around $25 per month, which is not enough to adequately support the family. Recognizing the challenges they face, Jharana asked us to provide shelter for both of her daughters in our GNI home. Babli dreams of becoming a teacher.
