Janab Priyadarsani Das, nicknamed "Lisa"... is an only child. Her father ran away with another woman, abandoning his family. Her mother Basanti was left to support the family. When she can get work as a day laborer, she earns about $6 per mo. The family house consists of mud walls and a clay tile roof. Basanti heard about our nearby GNI Dream Centre and brought Janab to us. Now Janab is thriving. She tells us her dream is to be a doctor when she grows up.
